Astro Turf Pitches
Vauxhall Recreation boasts fantastic fully floodlit Football and Hockey astro-turf surfaces that are available for all ages and abilities to book up as members or non-members.
Apart from the excellent customer care and professional bookings service we offer, our users love the flexibility of the varying size and type of pitches we have available. Detailed below is further explanation of our pitches; including suitability for numbers playing, which sport is playable on which pitch etc.

Pro-Zones 1, 2&3
Football is taken to another level on these ‘state of the art’ enclosed 3G football surfaces. Pro-Zone 1 is ideal for 5-a-side, while Pro-Zones 2&3 lend themselves to 6/7-a-side games. Both pitches have excellent floodlighting, 5 metre high surround fencing and overhead netting to keep the ball permanently in play.
After careful research, the club opted for a buoyant surface of the latest specification - as used by a number of Pro football clubs.
Its secret lies in a longer grass pile and combination of sand and rubber granules beneath the surface - ideal for reducing jolting effects on joints and third degree burns!
Brache Arena
The Brache Arena offers a sand-dressed surface that is suitable for both Hockey and Football.
Hockey fixtures are played on here on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season, whilst during the week the arena is mainly booked by local teams and work colleagues to play football. The pitch can accommodate four 6/7-a-side football pitches at any one time but can also be used for full 11-a-side fixtures (friendlies only). The Arena is fully floodlit for evening play up until 10pm

Football Leagues
We also have various football leagues running throughout the year.
Our corporate league is run by ourselves through the close season and details promoting this league will be available on this page nearer to the time.
We also have a Monday night league running here throughout the football season and this is organised by Football Mundial.
